Update

BomberzBoard 1.0.8 and 1.0.9: tournaments and Evasion

Two updates in two days: tournament schedules and big brackets read round by round, then an Evasion power that keeps a moved plane hidden.

BomberzBoard 1.0.8 arrived on the App Store on 21 September, and 1.0.9 followed on 22 September. Both are on Google Play too.

1.0.8 gets the game ready for its first tournament. A tournament card now shows the schedule before you enter, with the day and time of each match day, so you know when to show up. Large brackets, from 128 players up, are read one round at a time instead of being drawn with gaps, and they open on the round you last played. A live match also recovers on its own when a message goes missing, and you can find an ally or a rival by name, however long your list has grown.

1.0.9 changes Evasion, the power that lets you move one of your planes during a battle. The hits your opponent has already landed stay on the board where they were fired, and the moved plane arrives clean, so your opponent loses track of it. Before you move, you can see which of your planes are damaged.
