Vault ("the App") is developed and published by BE PLUS S.R.L. ("BE PLUS", "we", "us", "our"), a software studio registered in Bucharest, Romania (Reg. Com. J2026039087001, CUI 54913206, registered office Str. Dealul Tugulea 77, Office 2, Floor 1, District 6, Bucharest). This policy explains how the App handles your information.
We never see your data. Your photos and files are end-to-end encrypted on your device, then mirrored only to your own private iCloud (as ciphertext Apple cannot read) so your vault follows you to a new device. BE PLUS has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
Every item you add is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before it is written to storage. The encryption key is stored in your iCloud Keychain, which Apple keeps end-to-end encrypted and syncs only across your own devices — so the key (and therefore your vault) follows you when you set up a new device. Your encrypted items are mirrored to your private iCloud database (CloudKit) as ciphertext only. BE PLUS has no servers and never receives your key or your files; Apple stores only encrypted data it cannot read. An optional encrypted backup file (password-protected) lets you recover even outside iCloud.
The optional secure-share feature creates a password-protected PDF locally on your device, which you can then share through the system share sheet. The password is set by you and is not stored or transmitted by the App.
The App stores your encrypted items and their thumbnails locally, and mirrors them (still encrypted) to your private iCloud so they are available on your other devices. There is no BE PLUS account or server. Turning off iCloud for the App keeps everything on the device.
The App offers an optional one-time Pro unlock through Apple's In-App Purchase (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment and manages the entitlement, which is tied to your Apple ID. We never receive your payment details (card number, billing address). "Restore Purchases" simply asks Apple to re-confirm an existing purchase.
Apple may collect aggregated, anonymous app-usage and crash statistics at the operating-system level. This is controlled by Apple under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, independently of the App. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
The App integrates no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, and no non-Apple third-party services. The only external services involved are Apple platform services (App Store / In-App Purchase), used under Apple's own privacy framework.
The App is distributed worldwide through the Apple App Store. BE PLUS processes no personal data of its own. As an EU-based company, BE PLUS S.R.L. complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679; users in the EU and UK are protected under the GDPR and UK-GDPR. Because your content stays on your device (and, where applicable, in your own iCloud), you remain in control of it at all times.
