Scan & Organize ("the App") is developed and published by BE PLUS S.R.L. ("BE PLUS", "we", "us", "our"), a software studio registered in Bucharest, Romania (Reg. Com. J2026039087001, CUI 54913206, registered office Str. Dealul Tugulea 77, Office 2, Floor 1, District 6, Bucharest). This policy explains how the App handles your information.
We do not collect any personal data. Scanning, reading, and organizing documents runs on your device. BE PLUS has no user accounts, no advertising and no third-party tracking. The only data that leaves the device is anonymous usage statistics, sent to our own service and never shared with anyone. Your content stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
Document edge-detection and text recognition (OCR) run on your device using Apple's VisionKit and Vision frameworks. Your documents and recognized text are stored locally on your device.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your documents are synchronised across your own devices through Apple iCloud (CloudKit private database). This data lives in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy — BE PLUS cannot access it. Sync is off unless you turn it on, and you can disable it any time in Settings.
Your documents, pages, and recognized text are stored in the App's local storage, and — only if you enable iCloud Sync — mirrored to your private iCloud. There is no BE PLUS account or server.
The App offers an optional one-time Pro unlock through Apple's In-App Purchase (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment and manages the entitlement, which is tied to your Apple ID. We never receive your payment details (card number, billing address). "Restore Purchases" simply asks Apple to re-confirm an existing purchase.
To understand which features are used and to improve the App, we send anonymous, non-personal usage events to our own first-party analytics service — not a third party, and not an advertising network. What is sent: a random, anonymous install identifier (a UUID) that identifies a device install and not a person; basic technical context such as app version, operating-system version, language and country/region; and simple events such as the app being opened or the purchase screen being shown. We do not send your documents, their text or their names, contacts, or your location. This matches the App Store privacy label for this App: Identifiers and Usage Data, not linked to you and not used for tracking.
Separately, Apple may collect aggregated, anonymous app-usage and crash statistics at the operating-system level. This is controlled by Apple under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, independently of the App. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
The App integrates no advertising networks, no third-party analytics and no social networks. The only external parties involved are our own first-party analytics service described above and Apple platform services (App Store / In-App Purchase, and Apple iCloud (CloudKit) if you enable sync), used under Apple's own privacy framework.
The App is distributed worldwide through the Apple App Store. BE PLUS processes no personal data of its own. As an EU-based company, BE PLUS S.R.L. complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679; users in the EU and UK are protected under the GDPR and UK-GDPR. Because your content stays on your device (and, where applicable, in your own iCloud), you remain in control of it at all times.
