Privacy Cleaner ("the App") is developed and published by BE PLUS S.R.L. ("BE PLUS", "we", "us", "our"), a software studio registered in Bucharest, Romania (Reg. Com. J2026039087001, CUI 54913206, registered office Str. Dealul Tugulea 77, Office 2, Floor 1, District 6, Bucharest). This policy explains how the App handles your information.
We do not collect any personal data. Stripping hidden metadata from photos runs on your device. BE PLUS has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Your content stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
The App reads a photo's embedded metadata — such as GPS location, capture date, camera/lens model, and editing software — solely to show it to you and remove it. All processing happens on your device using Apple's ImageIO framework. Cleaning produces a new copy with the sensitive metadata stripped; your original photo is never modified. Nothing is uploaded, and BE PLUS has no servers.
The App does not keep a database of your photos. Cleaned copies are written as temporary files only so you can export or save them, and are cleared by the system. The App has no cloud component and no account.
The App offers an optional one-time Pro unlock through Apple's In-App Purchase (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment and manages the entitlement, which is tied to your Apple ID. We never receive your payment details (card number, billing address). "Restore Purchases" simply asks Apple to re-confirm an existing purchase.
Apple may collect aggregated, anonymous app-usage and crash statistics at the operating-system level. This is controlled by Apple under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, independently of the App. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
The App integrates no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, and no non-Apple third-party services. The only external services involved are Apple platform services (App Store / In-App Purchase), used under Apple's own privacy framework.
The App is distributed worldwide through the Apple App Store. BE PLUS processes no personal data of its own. As an EU-based company, BE PLUS S.R.L. complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679; users in the EU and UK are protected under the GDPR and UK-GDPR. Because your content stays on your device (and, where applicable, in your own iCloud), you remain in control of it at all times.
